To all our new and returning families: Welcome to Ottawa Islamic School and the 2011-2012 school year.
After what we hope was a safe and relaxing summer break, we, at Ottawa Islamic School , look forward to
working with all of you to make this year successful and productive. One of the great aspects of a new
school year is that it gives everyone the chance to have a fresh start. Preparation for school can be as
simple as talking to your children about their academic and work habit goals for this year insha-allah.
Whether your child wishes to improve their academic performance, Ottawa Islamic School is a school full of
opportunities and challenges. You have joined an exceptionally strong community that has much to offer.
OIS newsletter is full of information to make the return to school as smooth as possible. Please take
the time to read it carefully as it has all the information you need for the first few weeks of school.
